The administration and well-being of the airport requires continuous oversight, assessment and supervision.  The following activities support the backbone of an aerodrome maintenance program.

Developing an Annual Airport Management Oversight Program is an effective way of delivering the project (Some tasks may be performed Multiple times during the year) Maintaining an online and social media presence has never been more important to ensure visibility.

Periodically review and update the Airport Website and Airport Facilities Directory (AFD), maintain facebook and twitter accounts (both will be useful in support of any emergencies which may arise)

Review and update Aviation Operations Handbook, as required minimum annually but ideally consider 6 monthly formally reviews with interim notifications concerning any ongoing issues. Review Security System integrity & ensure all stakeholders are involved in the assessment planning and implementation of security related changes. Maintain an airport security manual (restricted) and ensure currency.

Review Airport Security Plans for currency and update as appropriate.

Review all property management documentation for currency, including airport leases, special use agreements, rights of entry agreements, and easements, and similar documents. Review all established contractor and supply vendor agreements for currency.

Review contracts for fertilizer, herbicides and other products to ensure currency ensure complete documentation and appropriate personnel licensing.

To support the ongoing development of the airport infrastructure Identify capital projects and conduct the necessary cultural resource, environmental, and applicable construction design efforts.

Conduct any general maintenance and construction activities (consider seasonal access issues). Conduct mowing operations after completion of fertilizing at available airports Carry out ongoing inspection and any required maintenance operations on airport support equipment.

Perform continuous airfield inspections assess and act on any findings.

Implement airport wide quality assurance program and safety management system complementary or integrated programs to ensure through an intensive Quality Assurance Audit Program the ongoing compliance with all external regulatory and internal documented procedures.
