Steve Bentley MD of Sofema Aviation Services completed the delivery of EASA Compliant Quality Audit Training on Tues 3rd May 2016 With delegates attending from Bangkok Airways, Lufthansa Philippines, and Thai Flight Training Academy (TFTA)

The goal of the training was to consider the fundamentals of a fully compliant Aviation Quality System together with the key elements required to organize the Quality Audit System processes. In addition to re-enforce a comprehensive understanding of the requirements for both the QA & SMS systems including an understanding of the different types of audit applicable for each area.

Subjects covered included the following:

Part OPS -SMS & Compliance Monitoring
The Role of the Compliance Manager
Effective Management of your Aviation Quality System
Post Holder Responsibilities and Relationships
Auditing for process effectiveness
Creating an Audit Schedule
Auditor Competence
The use of Psychology during audits
Development and use of Audit Check Lists
