EASA Part 145 / Part 147 Supervisor & Assessor Training Skills Development – ½ Day

Introduction

This course has been designed to support the development of EASA Part 145 Practical Training Task Supervisors and Practical Assessors and recognizes the EASA requirement to support the Competence Development of the Task Supervisor as follows

The Task Supervisor shall be designated following acceptance and completion of Task Supervisor Training. He shall be an appropriately qualified licensed aircraft maintenance engineer employed by the Organisation and holding a Full B1 approval on the aircraft Type

EASA Regulations Provide for EASA Part 145 Organisational Theoretical & Practical Training in support of Task Training for CAT A and CAT B2 Aircraft Engineers.

In addition, EASA Regulations provide for On the Job Training (OJT) following completion of the First Type Training in each Category.

Pre-requisites

A background in an aviation environment is an advantage although not essential.

Learning Objectives

This course considers the role of Practical Assessor together with the necessary core competencies.

The role of task supervisor is very important to ensure he or she is able to act as a coach with the ability to set objectives.
