During November 2013 Steven Bentley MD of Sofema Aviation Services had the pleasure of delivering  4 days Intensive Training covering the forthcoming Part OPS together with an understanding of  SMS Risk Assessment.

The Part Ops course objectives included familiarization with current AOC holders and other Operational and Concerned Personnel with a detailed understanding of EASA Part OPS Structure and Environment with emphasis on Compliance Monitoring and AMC & GM procedures. In addition, to raise an understanding of the operator monitoring processes in particular within the Quality Safety and Training departments to ensure effective compliance with Part OPS and associated requirements.

The Safety Management System Risk Assessment course covered the challenges of delivering an effective Risk Management System focusing on the structure, methodology and techniques for dealing with Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Mitigation.
