EASA prescribes correct and thorough training as essential to optimize compliance in every organisation. In order to achieve significant outcomes of such training. An important role of the Quality Audit process is to identify and shortfalls in the management and oversight of the competence process.
The Quality System can supplement the data feed into the SMS system, but essentially it should be understood that the quality system is performing audits to ensure the organisation remains compliant with regulatory and company requirements, whereas the SMS system is required to proactively identify potential weak points in the organizational system.
During the training consideration will be given to additional possibilities in using Quality auditing to identify Human Factors shortfalls within the organizational system, the most cited factors in the order of their frequency being Schedule pressure, Non compliance with legal requirements, Inspection, Installation Logbook entry
The training will consider methods which the auditor can use to provide indications of any potential shortfall.
The instructor has completed more than 20 years auditing in a commercial environment, and one of the many subjects covered will consider how to get the maximum benefit for the time you have available to audit.
