SAFAIR Signs contract for SAM Software
Airline Software Applications is pleased to announce the signing of a contract to
implement the full ASP package of SAM software, throughout the Safair fleet.
Safair currently operates 16 aircrafts (737, ATR, L382)
Safair starts with a 4 user ASP full package of SAM, which can be upgraded as more aircraft come on line. Initially the fleet of 10 L382 Hercules will be loaded onto the system. Quickly followed by the remainder of the fleet.

What system you were using before you choose SAM? – AMASIS
AMASIS (Aircraft Maintenance And Spares Information System) is the turn-key integrated solution to manage aircraft maintenance and related logistics. Its graphical user interface & modular set up build-up a complete and consistent maintenance information system.
Is there any particular reason for leaving the old system?
– A new AMASIS system and support would have been too expensive.

How was the SAM implementation and training process? Is there anything which went very well and exceeded your expectations?
– Support and Training was outstanding.

System Aircraft Management is driven by the desire to satisfy customers and to deliver an effective and supportive service the only way to show this is by proof. The support staff at SAM does this on a daily basis.
How did the Data migration from the old System to SAM went through? Can you share with us what were your expectation and concerns in regards with Data migration before the implementation?
– The Data migration went very smoothly, Amasis Data was exported into Excel spreadsheets and the spreadsheets could be easily imported into SAM.
Are you happy with the process so far?
– Yes everything has gone really well.

SAM software is designed not just to be easy to work with but the process of building data and loading the system is very user friendly and easy to achieve. If required the tech support staff can assist you in this activity.
Can we get a general quotation about the product from some of your Managers?
– The general consensus across the business is that SAM is both user friendly and easy to understand.
Do you have plans of expanding the user accounts in near future?
– Yes, I think we will at least reach the 10 user license by the end of the year.

What is your current fleet size using SAM Software?
– Currently we are using SAM for our fleet of 8 Hercules but the plan is to consider SAM as the universal software for our operation.
