SAS announces EU OPS Recurrent & Part OPS Introduction 4th5th July 2013 – Croatia.

 

Sofema Aviation Services is pleased to announce the availability of a 2 day intensive course dealing with the implementation of Part OPS within the operations environment

 

The training will be carried out in the facilities of Croatia Airlines, Zagreb.

 

European Aviation is moving from the previous JAA system which focused on JAR OPS 1 for fixed wing and

JAR OPS 3 for Rotary Wing, JAR ops 1 was superseded as an interim measure by EU OPS.

 

JAR OPS 3 is very much in need of an update so the introduction of Part OPS is a welcome move, although it is recognized there are still several more years of regulatory implementation to go through

 

The training outlines the overall regulatory framework of EASA – European Aviation Safety Agency and reviews the Civil Aviation regulatory evolution leading up to the introduction of Part OPS. Including a detailed understanding of how the EASA regulatory framework functions.

 

Regulation 965/2012 has a significant impact affecting all European Operators. This training is specifically focused on key personnel in Aviation Management, Flight Operations or Aircraft Maintenance environment involved in or with responsibility for the implementing Part OPS transition from EU OPS.
