October 10th and 11th 2013 saw SAS deliver in company training for Part OPS.

 

The course objectives included familiarization with current AOC holders and other Operational and Concerned Personnel with a detailed understanding of EASA Part OPS Management Structure Particularly in respect of Compliance Monitoring & Safety Management Systems (SMS) with emphasis on AMC & GM procedures.

 

The training was designed to raise an understanding of the operator monitoring processes in particular within the Quality Safety and Training departments to ensure effective compliance with Part OPS and associated requirements.

 

Commented Steve Bentley “This is the 2nd of 3 Part Ops trainings we are delivering this month. The training is designed to create an in depth understanding of the structure and role of EASA Part Operations together with a detailed understanding of the challenges which organisations will face in meeting the Part OPS requirements.”
