The Workshop may be delivered either “In Company “ or as an open training.

Everyone in the organization (means each and every employee) has a role to play in delivering the Safety Management System. The challenge is to provide the necessary support guidance and motivation and leadership to ensure this is achieved in an economic and viable way.

According to ICAO, Full implementation of all components and elements of the SMS framework may take up to five years, depending on an organization‘s maturity and complexity. However it is fare to say most organisations may fully implement a SMS system in a considerably shorter period than this.

Once a system is in place which is able to identify weaknesses and pressure points in the organization it becomes possible to work towards not only continuous monitoring but continuous improvement.

The primary goal of this Implementation Workshop is to focus on the understanding on the process of implementing your Company SMS, as well as awareness of all elements of  the process of managing, auditing and identifying hazards and measuring risk.

Effective Implementation means raising to the challenge of addressing all of the issues we face.

During the course the delegate will develop a personal action plan which is company specific. During this training we will consider the benefits of the processes which are driven by ICAO as a means to minimizing the risk within our organization. In addition to  consider the benefits of the processes which are driven by ICAO as a means to minimizing the risk within our organization.

We have to develop processes to actively “hunt” for the problem before it is manifested as an incident. Our goal should be to achieve the absolute minimum level of accidents and incidents. In doing so we recognize that we will have much opportunity to consider risk and constantly work to reduce this risk, in addition we will continue to address Incidents when they happen and take appropriate actions to ensure they do not happen again.
