Sofema Aviation Services is very pleased to be returning to Joburg to deliver EASA Part M and Part 145 Essentials.
To be delivered in the facilities of SAFAIR at Johannesburg International Airport OR Tambo International Airport
Part 27th & Part 28th June 2013
In the EASA system the “Operator” has total responsibility for the management of Continuing Airworthiness, which means compliance with the Management of and compliance with, the Maintenance Program and all regulatory requirements including AD’s and Repairs.
The role of the “Maintainer” is focused on the delivery of the maintenance product , in conformity with all 145 requirements. It is not part of the normal regulatory responsibility for the 145 organization to “manage” the maintenance oversight and technical records systems.
The intention of these fast paced & highly focused 1 day trainings is to specifically explore an understanding of the various regulatory relationships involved.
There is far more involved in these trainings than just an understanding of the regulatory requirements, the training has been developed and focused with the benefit of years of practical experience, proven to deliver meaningful and relevant content.
The trainings consider many issues including a focus on the following areas
Understanding the Essence of the EASA Regulatory Environment.
The Relationship between the Part M Organization and the 145 Organization, the various areas of overlapping responsibility between the organisations for example in the area of “Independent Inspections” Mandatory Reporting” and “Documentation and Configuration Control.”
The increasing importance of the management and effective development of Competence throughout the organisation.
What is meant in the context of Contract and Subcontract and what this means to the oversight systems.
What is specifically required in respect of Oversight in respect of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Safety Management Systems.
Where are the exposures ? What do we mean by exposures, inevitably any shortfall in effective delivery leads to inefficiencies which often reflect in increased costs in both the Part M and Part 145 Systems – how to mitigate !
Where are the opportunities to optimize and generate efficiencies? There are a number of key areas which are fully explored during the training where we can drive savings in both the Part M and Part 145 environments,
Both trainings are delivered by a professional with more than 40 years of Civilian Aviation experience, including more than 20 years spent working directly in the MRO environment.
These trainings are more than an opportunity to review EASA regulations they provide an in depth understanding of challenges and opportunities.
