Sofema Aviation Services has developed and offers a very effective online training resource – www.EASAOnline.com supported by our YouTube channel sas-e-aviation to provide regulatory and vocational training across a range of subjects all focused on and compliant with the requirements of EASA.

EASA does not approve any courses which are not directly related to Part 147 / Part 66 (Part 147 is very specific and relates only to the basic and type training needs of the certifying engineer). It is left to the organisation to manage employee competency as part of the requirement of COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 127/2010 of 5 February 2010 in respect of Part M and ED Decision 2011/011/R 28/11/2011 GM 2 145.A.30

For Example Quality Auditing, Implementation of Safety Management Systems, Maintenance Planning, Production Planning, Reliability & Technical Records may be considered as vocational courses and are designed to improve your personal competency and skill set, moreover they may enable your organisation to allow you to perform certain tasks for example AD Management and Maintenance Program Amendment based on acceptance by the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and Quality Manager.

When you complete the www.EASAOnline.com training program a certificate is printed after every element so you will receive 5 certificates for the Maintenance Planning Package of training after completing 5 multi choice exams and receive 3 certificates for the Production Planning Package of training after completing 3 multi choice exams.

The certificates are a testament to the successful completion of the training program and are evidence which builds towards a competency and skill set development program.

Since the commencement of training services in 2008 Sofema Aviation Services (SAS) has issued more than 10,000 certificates which are accepted by EASA Regulatory Authorities that regulatory training has been carried out. It is anticipated that EASAOnline (EOL) will exceed this number in the coming years.

The Maintenance Planning courses are based on a program developed for Emirates Maintenance Planning department in Dubai (100 persons work in Maintenance Planning).

The online program may be started and stopped at your convenience and automatically continues from where you left off, you have 6 months to complete the program.

In addition, as well as continuous technical support, from commencement of the online program you are entitled to Regulatory Support through email and if necessary skype with a personal tutor, you will be provided with a dedicated email for this purpose.

Payments for EASAOnline training courses may be made either by Paypal or by wire transfer and an invoice will be provided with all relevant information.
