Sofema Aviation Services offers one of the most comprehensive EASA compliant Quality Assurance Lead Auditor Course focused on the needs of the small operator and Business User.

The Course is delivered over 5 days covering the requirements objectives and skills development of the auditor.

Day 3 of the training looks at Audit Requirements related to IATA IOSA & ISAGO (IATA Operational Standards Audit and IATA Standards Audit Ground Operations.

In addition to consider the role and the Audit Requirements Related to both ISBAO for Business Operators and ISBAH for Business Jet Handlers.

An Important aspect of an effective quality assurance system is to fully understand how to both identify and Measure our Internal Quality Standards? (Remember that all Quality Findings much be against a standard)

The course also considers Advance Quality Auditing Techniques in an EASA Compliant Organisation. (It is through a comprehensive understanding of such techniques that we can identify shortfalls and exposures within the organisations Quality Assurance System.

One of the positive attributes of an effective auditor is to be able to assess and work with the auditee by understanding the Psychology of the Aviation Auditee. As we become more practiced at reading body language and making auditees more comfortable we will find it easier to identify short falls and exposures within the organisations systems.

An essential element of a successful quality audit system is the behaviour associated with understanding the Nature of Risk and the identification of hazards (do not make the mistake of thinking this belongs to the Safety Management System and has nothing to do with QMS as this is not the case. We need to ensure a practical understanding of the role of Root Cause as well as effective ways to use this knowledge to analyse and manage.

It is only by dealing with audit findings in a proactive way, identifying the exposure and developing the most effective mitigation which deals with the root cause (Remember that the business area owner is responsible to identify the root cause and to develop a solution – that we can ensure we deliver the most effective Quality Assurance System.
