Sofema Aviation Services (SAS) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract to deliver Regulatory Training for LAOS Aircraft Engineering Company (LAECO).

The Training will be delivered at the Corporate HQ in Vietniane LAOS and will take place in October 2014.

An agreement to establish the Lao Airlines Engineering Company Limited (LAECO) was signed March 2014. The company has stated that the joint venture aims to provide professional care and maintenance for aircraft and to make sure services are meeting international standards.

Taking place over 6 Days the Training covers EASA Part 145, Safety Management Systems for Safety and Quality Managers and Quality Audit in Operations and Maintenance.

EASA Part 145 is a cornerstone of the regulatory environment and has been with us for many years. With specialist knowledge of Safety Management System SMS, Maintenance Error Management System, MEMS, and Production Organisation Processes, SAS delivers strong and focused Maintenance Organisation training.

SAS promotes strong organisational competency and recognises the need for an Effective  Proactive Aviation Safety System together with a  fully functioning Risk Management strategy and  Mitigation Process to deliver remedial controls. This needs to be supported by an effective Quality Assurance System delivering compliance at an effective level. With 25 years of specific aviation auditing experience we understand that the ability to communicate effectively and to analyse root causes are without doubt essential skills for auditors at all levels. In addition, the ability to produce high quality audit reports is a key organizational tool.

The training will take place during the first week of October 2014.
