This month we meet you with our instructor Danil Danailov. Danil started his aviation training in 1978 and has worked for many aviation companies, such as WizzAir, Buglaria Air, Hemus Air and others.
We asked Danil to tell us a bit more about himself.
Q: Does the aviation gene run in your family?
A: No, I’m a pioneer in my family.
Q: Is there a childhood dream involved in your choice of career?
A: The choice is not linked to a dream, rather constant interest in high technologies. In this regard the aviation industry is one very good domain.
Q: In your opinion, what is the most valuable quality a person should have in your line of work?
A: Genuine Quality and Compliance approach. This means to respect of rules governing aviation industry and to keep yourself constantly updated.
Q: What are the most enjoyable aspects of the job? And the most challenging?
A: Dealing with and resolving a specific problem has a pleasant feeling. In most cases this is also a challenging task.
Q: How do you find ways to make your work more interesting for you and your trainees?
A: The best way to find out what is the best training approach is to communicate informally with the trainees.
Q: Would you like to share some interesting and extraordinary experience involving your work?
A: There are no similar courses. Each training is unique and specific.
Q: What activities do you enjoy outside of work?
A: DIY (do-it-yourself) and gardening.
