Boeing 737-600/700/800/900 (CFM56)_T1/T2 – EASA PART 66 – B1 & B2 Combined Theoretical Course – 29 Days

Course Content –

This course is in compliance with EASA Part-66, Appendix III “Type Training and Examination Standard”. The participant will acquire the knowledge necessary to perform and certify maintenance tasks permitted to be carried out as certifying staff category B1& B2.

It provides detailed description, operation, component location, removal/installation, bite and troubleshooting procedures to a maintenance manual level.

Learning Objectives –

Level 1 General Familiarization

A brief overview of the airplane, systems and power plants as outlined in the systems Description section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual.

Level 2 Ramp and Transit

Basic System overview of controls, indicators, principal components including their location and purpose, servicing and minor trouble shooting.

Level 3 Line and Base Maintenance

In addition to the information contained in level 1 and level 2 training, upon completion of the level 3 training, the participant will be able to:

Describe how to perform system, component and functional checks as specified in the maintenance manual.

Correlate information for the purpose of making decisions in respect of fault diagnosis and rectification to the maintenance manual level.

Describe procedures for replacement of components unique to the aircraft to maintenance manual level.

Target Groups –

CAR / EASA Part-66 / CAR -66 category B1 & B2 or other maintenance staff.

Pre-requisites –

EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence category B1 / B2  or equivalent.

Duration –

29 days – Each training day will commence at 09.00 and finish at 17.00, with appropriate refreshment breaks.

Closed book examinations will be conducted throughout the course. The minimum passing mark for the exam paper is 75 %. Participants will receive a selected type training CAR 147 / Part-147 certificate upon successful completion of the course.
