Job Description

Duties:

  • Provide instructions for defect rectification to AMO;
  • Provide support to MCC and AMO when required;
  • Assist in troubleshooting aircraft systems rectifying the repeated defects;
  • Provide assistance to Reliability Engineer in respect to repetitive / chronic Defects;
  • Initiate necessary additional MP tasks and implement them;
  • Ensure that applicable requirements of AIR OPS Subpart D are complied with the SmartLynx aircraft;
  • Maintain Aircraft Build in OASES – ATA structure and positions;
  • Maintain part numbers and part interchangeability information in OASES and advise to Logistics when required;
  • Configure aircraft systems of the new a/c for acceptance into the fleet;
  • Prepare instructions for defect and damage rectification with an approved standard;
  • Participate in preparation of work scope for aircraft heavy maintenance;
  • Assist Maintenance Planning and Logistics in preparation of spares and tools provisioning for the introduction of aircraft into the fleet;
  • Monitor on-going maintenance activities, critical paths and identify off-schedule conditions;
  • Prepare and issue engineering orders, work cards and guidelines for work procedures in compliance with maintenance data;
  • Liaise with aircraft and component manufacturers when required;
  • Assist in preparation of Minimum Equipment List;
  • Define aircraft status and modifications required.

Requirements:

  • Hold Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance license; or
  • Through assessment of competence prove sufficient knowledge to interpret maintenance requirements into maintenance tasks; or
  • Aeronautical Engineering university degree;
  • At least 2 years of experience with an air carrier, commercial operator;
  • Have relevant aircraft type training or familiarisation courses completed;
  • Good knowledge of EASA rules and regulations, Part-145 and Part-M;
  • Good knowledge of English language;
  • Good knowledge and experience in operating computer software programs and handling computer data and information.
