20150523-smallDobrica started his aviation career in the 1990’s after graduated Aeronautical Engineering on Belgrade University.

At the beginning his specialty was mechanical aircraft systems on Douglas and Boeing fleet of Jat Airways, Serbian national carrier.

Lately he was working as Aircraft Maintenance Program engineer for Boeing 727, become a member of Industry Steering Committee (MRB team) for B727 MSG3 analysis and one of participants from industry who issued first Boeing 727 MSG3 MRB report. After company phased out B727 he continues with supervision of B737 AMP as well as AD and SB status for entire fleet.

During a decade spent on airworthiness and maintenance planning activities, Dobrica was also a member of company team for acceptance and (re)delivery of leased aircraft, not only for company fleet but also for third party customers. He performed airworthiness survey for aircrafts in behalf for UAE GCAA. Additionally he was appointed, for 6 months, as line base engineer at dislocated line maintenance base in Macedonia.

Dobrica acted as AMP Bureau manager for 3 years, supervising airworthiness of B737 and ATR72 fleet. After that he was appointed as Engineering department manager in MRO (Part 145) and Design (Part 21) organization. He oversight activities on subcontracted continuous airworthiness tasks, engineering support to base maintenance and minor changes design projects.

At 2011 Dobrica was appointed to Safety manager position with primarily focused to implementation of Safety management system within MRO environment. He managed this task within and above scheduled (EASA) time frame. Joining to Quality department he becomes company auditor for design, maintenance, tools (calibration), ground equipment etc. and also trainer for HF, Safety and other regulatory courses.

In the meantime Dobrica finished Boeing and Airbus courses and obtained national Part 66 CAT “C” license for B737 and A320 aircraft. Additionally he studied FAA certified repair station regulatory training, MEDA investigation methods, ISO 17025 standardization and business competencies and obtained EBC*L (European Business Competence* License).

With a background of airworthiness, design, regulatory and safety oversight, especially investigation in aircraft maintenance environment, Dobrica is focused for delivery of high quality training of EASA regulations with details from years of experience in operation, maintenance, quality and safety.
