The session consisted of 6 days of training and took place between October 9th and October 16th. Participants in it were representatives from many companies such as Strata Manufacturing, Lufthansa Technik Middle East, LTR Pte Ltd, Azerbaijan Airlines, etc.
The delegates learnt how to:
–Â Develop a detailed understanding of the various process and procedures for staff involved in Stores Management and Receipt Inspection.
–Â Consider the Key elements required to organise the Compliance Audit System processes to both ensure compliance and to deliver maximum effectiveness.
– Focus on the issues, how they relate in our work place, and what we need to do to address them.
About the courses:
GCAA CAR M â CAR 145 Advanced Quality Auditing Techniques â 2 Days
The training is extremely effective and is suitable for both regulatory authorities as well as industry. Have you ever wondered how it is that accident investigators understand all the shortfalls and exposures â but after an accident or incident. It is possible to audit at this level before an accident.
This course is highly interactive with all delegates having the opportunity to fully engage to consider best practice techniques related to both auditing techniques and compliance oversight methodology.
Logistics & Stores Inspection Procedures EASA/GCAA â 3 Days
This in depth 3 day training is designed to provide attendees with:
– A detailed practical understanding of the requirements to Manage and Develop an Aviation Store.
– To provide a regulatory and industry perspective for staff involved in Stores Management and Receipt Inspection.
– Develop the attendees understanding of airworthiness and Receipt Certification principles including:-Electrostatic Inspection.
– To Develop procedures for use in Stores and Goods Inspection.
– To review the problems associated with bogus parts.
– The trainee must demonstrate an understanding the subjects covered
ETOPS (Extended Operations) or EDTO (Extended Diversion Time Operations) â 1 Day
The objective of ETOPS rules is to maintain the risk at a minimum constant value.
To do so, procedures such as dual maintenance, service check, monitoring (Engine/APU oil, etc.), configuration control, verification flight and reliability program have to be set.
The airline is required to define and implement an ETOPS maintenance program to address the items above.
