We believe this is the best Introductory Course for Aspiring EASA Auditors

The Course is suitable for OPS Maintenance & Cabin Crew

Sofema Aviation Services is pleased to offer a 3 day course for experienced aviation professionals who are wishing to become Internal Auditors.

Delivered by an Instructor with 25 years Hands on Quality Audit Experience in the Commercial Environment including 15 years with Virgin Atlantic

This course is especially designed for the persons who wish to become auditors both within an operations and maintenance environment. If you have never audited before but wish to, then this is the course for you.

The Independent Audit Process is a fundament of the EASA regulatory oversight system by making EASA Approved Organisations self responsible for demonstrating compliance.

The course assumes a basic knowledge of aviation systems and processes however assumes no knowledge of EASA Quality Systems and focuses on introducing the delegate to all the concepts associated with basic compliance auditing.

Our Auditor training courses are developed by an Industry professional with Hands on Audit experience over 25 years (and as anyone who attends our courses will attest – it shows!)

Quality management systems (QMS) provide an essential link in the safety chain by identifying non conformities with regulatory and organisational standards. The role of the Internal auditor is to be able to identify this exposure and present it in the correct way to the business area owner.

Compliance Management Auditing raises an understanding of the various roles of a quality system within the organisation, in particular to focus on effective identification of the need to perform root cause analysis of the discrepancies, and to take positive action.

After this course you will have:

  •  The knowledge to conduct Internal Audits as well as to prepare for an upcoming audit (e.g. by an authority or external organization).
  •  Understand the various techniques for effective auditing across the business
  •  Learn how to identify compliance type audit findings
  •  Develop a detailed understanding of the roles and responsibilities related both to the compliance delivery system (Quality Control – QC) and the independent compliance oversight system (Quality Assurance QA)
  •  Understand the management of quality standards and how they may be developed within the organisation
  •  Understand how the EASA Management System functions
  •  Learn the does and don’ts of Aviation Audit Best Practices – what works best – Why & How?
