The Course is suitable for all personnel with duties and/or responsibilities in the Airline Maintenance Planning Environment. Quality Assurance Staff. Also of Interest to persons working in a CAMO or Part M Quality System. Production Planning and Reliability Specialists, Engineers, Managers & Lease Companies.

The Maintenance Planning Function is the responsibility of the Operator and Effective Maintenance Planning can contribute significantly to achieving optimisation within the organization. This training develops an understanding regarding the opportunities to deliver real savings.

The aircraft maintenance program (AMP) identifies the maintenance tasks to be performed on an aircraft, to maintain its airworthiness. The AMP is the primary tool for the effective control of the aircraft therefore it must be developed with full consideration of both the safety and economic viability

What is the Benefit of this Training – What will I learn?

At the end of this Training the delegate should have a comprehensive understanding of the Roles and responsibilities associated with Maintenance Planning, and the importance of delivering an effective Maintenance Planning Function within the organization.

a) Achieve a solid understanding related to Subpart G Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) and the Continuing Airworthiness Organisation (CAMO)

b) Be able to demonstrate Part M Functionality and to avoid or mitigate problems

c) Appreciate the Roles and Responsibilities related to all elements within the Maintenance Planning Group.

d) A detailed understanding of the PART M Quality System – The difference between QA & QC Roles and responsibilities and how it relates to the Maintenance Planning Environment.

e) Be able to use the regulation to proactively manage the Continuing Airworthiness (CA) of your aircraft.

f) Understand the activities which support the analysis of Safety Data including SB’s and AD’s

g) Understand the purpose of STC’s and how they are integrated into the maintenance Program

h) Understand the roles and responsibilities within the various CAMO groups including Reliability, Technical Records, Engineering, & Maintenance Planning
