Danil Danailov – Instructor of Sofema Aviation Services, had the pleasure to deliver (EC) Regulation 965/2012 Training (Large A/C – Aor Carrier). It took place at Windrose Airlines Facilities in Kiev, Ukraine. Twenty-three delegates attended the 2-days training session.

About the Training:

EC Regulation 965/2012 Training (Large A/C – Aor Carrier) – 2 Days

The new Air Operations requirements consist of the Regulation and its implementing measures/Implementing and the corresponding Acceptable
Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM), which are published on the Agency website as Decisions.

The Regulation lays down detailed rules for commercial air transport operations with aeroplanes and helicopters, including ramp inspections of aircraft of operators under the safety oversight of another State when landed at aerodromes located in the territory subject to the provisions of the Treaty.

Regulation 965/2012 has a significant impact affecting all European Operators. This training is specifically focused on key personnel in Aviation Management, Flight Operations or Aircraft Maintenance environment involved in or with responsibility for the implementing Part OPS transition from EU OPS.

Windrose Airlines, legally Wind Rose Aviation Company, is a Ukrainian charter airline based at Boryspil International Airport. Founded on 28 October 2003, the airline’s headquarters are in Kiev; it operates charter flights to destinations in Western Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Currently, the airline is carrying out charter programs and regular flights from the Boryspil airport, as well as from almost all the regions of Ukraine, using the following types of aircraft: Airbus-A-321 (4 ACFTs ), Airbus-A-320 (1ACFT) and Embraer ERJ-145 EU / EP / LR (7 ACFTs), carrying out planned expansion of the medium-haul fleet. The share of charter air transportation of the airline in the Ukrainian market is about 60%. Safety of flights is a priority for WINDROSE airlines.
