Kevin Rookes – Instructor of Sofema Aviation Services, had the pleasure to deliver “FAA FAR-145 & FAR-43 for Repair Stations located outside the U.S. not under a BASA/MIP – Initial” training at Etihad Airways facilities in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

11 Etihad Airways Professionals attended and completed the 3-day training course from September 24th to September 26th 2019.

FAA FAR-145 & FAR-43 for Repair Stations located outside the U.S. not under a BASA/MIP – Initial – 3 Days

This training course describes in detail 14 CFR part 43 and part 145 and the relationship to U.S. air carriers for a foreign certificated repair station located outside the United States in a country that does not have a Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement with the FAA.

The delegates gained knowledge about:

a) the United States Code of Federal Regulations Title 14 Part 145 and Part 43
b) the differences between approved parts, accepted parts, OEM and PMA parts
c) the rules that must be followed to change an aviation products Type Design
d) the relationship between Part 145 and Part 43 and the linkage to Part 121 responsibilities and more
