Altin Vrapi – instructor of Sofema Aviation Services had the pleasure to deliver 8 different training courses to Gulf Helicopters staff.

The Training session started in July 1st and finished in July 10th in GHC – Qatar. Near 30 delegates attended the 8 one day long training courses of EASA Part M, Regulatory obligations, EASA Part 145, Root cause assessment, SMS, Regulation 965/2012 and FRMS.

About the Training Courses

The session started with Accountable Manager and Post Holder (Nominated Persons) Regulatory Obligations Combined OPS, ATO & Maintenance – Essentials – 1 Day. An intensive 1 day training for busy Industry leaders; the focus on the training is a comprehensive understanding of Roles and Responsibilities of Accountable executives and Post Holders (Nominated Persons).

The next day the attendants covered CAMO Post Holder (Nominated Persons) Regulatory Obligations – 1 day. An intensive 1 day training designed to cover all of the management elements associated with the functions of the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM).

The third day was dedicated to EASA Part M Essentials 1 Day training.

The 4th of July training was about EASA Part 145 – Essentials. This course provides an understanding of the maintenance organisations responsibilities, contracted arrangements, and a thorough understanding of the organizational responsibilities associated with Part 145 compliance.

5th of July – EASA Compliant Aviation Quality Assurance & Root Cause Assessment NAA Senior & Lead Auditor Review Course. The purpose of this training is to identify best practice Quality auditing techniques and behaviours to support the delivery of not only effective Auditing but to deliver effective Root Cause Analysis techniques as well.

SMS Risk Monitoring and Safety Performance Overview and Recurrent – 1 Day was in the schedule for 8th of July. This 1 day course aims to provide a comprehensive review of the overall effectiveness of our SMS. by performing a review of the current Risk Monitoring and Safety Performance processes.

7th in the list of training courses was (EC) Regulation 965/2012 – Essentials. The training outlines the overall regulatory framework of  EASA – European Aviation Safety Agency and reviews the Civil Aviation regulatory evolution leading up to the introduction of Part OPS.

The last training was about Fatigue Risk Management Systems Regulatory Obligations – 1 day. The course is focused on the process to determine the specific needs of the organisation, to perform a current status gap analysis and builds on the need for a total understanding of the steps required to fully implement and manage an FRMS within your organisation.
