Sofema Aviation Services (SAS) has built up a strong reputation for providing effective support and delivering EASA and ICAO compliant regulatory and vocational training for more than 8 years. Providing Regulatory & Vocational training for 1000′s of delegates and 100′s of training courses – currently we are offering in excess of 200 courses, please see here for details.

SAS has so far successfully completed our first training program in Jakarta and we have welcomed more than 100 delegates on our EASA compliant regulatory courses.

We are planning more open training courses later in the year and we are also available to deliver “in company” training direct in your organisation. If you have 7 to 8 delegates who require a training the in company is often the best way to go.

As well as EASA compliant regulatory and vocational training SAS offers Hi level Quality & Safety Auditing and Process, Optimization and Facilitation.

See below the details of our Reliability Training Program in September:

Date: September 5th to September 9th 2016
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia – Venue – TBA

The training program in Jakarta is running from September 12th to September 16th 2016 and includes a number of training courses which are specifically designed to update and familiarise delegates with both the fundamentals as well as the latest developments. The courses are written by an industry professional with 40 years commercial aviation experience.

The following training courses are being offered:
EASA Part M Implementing an Effective Reliability Program – 2 Days
Aircraft Reliability Systems – Understanding the Maths Workshop – 2 Days

Using Bowtie Techniques for Risk Assessment – 1 Day
EASA Part M Implementing an Effective Reliability Program – 2 Days – 5th to 6th September 2016

This intensive 2 Day course is specifically aimed at organizational personnel who are required to actively control and deliver the aircraft reliability program. The training focuses on the gathering and processing of data. The display of Reliability Data and the way in which this data may be used to benefit the maintenance program. This training is suitable for persons who normally work within the Part M CAMO environment, particularly if the Reliability elements of the Maintenance Planning Process are outsourced. It will also be of benefit to Quality Audit Staff and Maintenance Management.

Aircraft Reliability Systems – Understanding the Maths Workshop – 2 Days – 7th to 8th September 2016

This intensive 2 day workshop will explain in detail and raise awareness regarding the management, oversight and methodologies involved in Aircraft Reliability Systems, together with a detailed range of demonstrations and mathematical exercises that are designed to provide the delegate with:
A basic knowledge of statistical analysis, and how these principles are applied to reliability data.
– Using worked examples and raw reliability data, understand & apply the mathematical calculations associated with aviation reliability.
– Provide guidance and interpretation with regard to data and findings drawn from calculated results.
– Guidelines on how to use Standard & Alert Level Deviation principles to set Upper Control Limits.
– A demonstration of various forms of data display & reporting that is employed by the typical large aircraft operator with a view to AMP enhancement & optimization.

Using Bowtie Techniques for Risk Assessment – 1 Day – 9th September 2016

The Bowtie Technique for Hazard and Risk Assessment and Management provides an effective tool which enables hazard scenarios to be presented in an easily understandable way with visualisation which helps to understand how hazards may escalate and also how they may be effectively managed. This 1 day intensive courses is designed to share with the delegates the methodology to understand the construction and analysis of Bow Ties and the technique of employing qualitative risk assessment processes and practices. Delegates will have the opportunity to perform several bowtie exercises in order to gain real experience using Bowties.
