This course is suitable for New Starters, CAMO Staff, with particular relevance for Technical Records Staff. It is also suitable for other stakeholders (including Quality Assurance Staff) who are looking for a detailed understanding of the role of technical records.

You bet! – Without a comprehensive set of continuing airworthiness records the aircraft will not be permitted to fly!

What are Aircraft Technical Records?

At first it might seem obvious. They are the records, which demonstrate the maintenance performed on aircraft. However, as we dig a little deeper we uncover a set of rules and regulations which describes exactly what we mean by both Aircraft Technical Records as well as Aircraft Continuing Airworthiness Records. Delegates to the training will understand in details all relevant differences.

European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part M is the regulatory approval which manages several departments including the operators Technical Records.

Gulf Civil Aviation Authority GCAA Civil Aviation Regulation CAR M is the equivalent approval which is based on the EASA regulation and also covers the UAE operators requirements to manage aircraft including Aircraft Technical Records.

Technical records is the hub of the CAMO group and it is usually the starting point for internal, external and regulatory audits.

This 2 day entry to intermediate level course is designed for both new and existing technical records personnel, the course may also be of benefit if you are considering employment within the Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization as a technical records administrator or officer.

The delegate will be introduced to the regulatory requirements driven by compliance with EASA Part M and GCAA CAR M. Throughout the course we will consider the best practice, self monitoring procedures SMP and common errors which occur.
