The next Human Factors Train the Trainer courses will be carried out in Sofia Wednesday 7th January 2015 to Friday 9th January in the Hotel Legends Sofia.

This 3 day Intensive Industry Specific Aircraft Maintenance Human Factors Instructor Course is aimed at delivering a deep understanding of the challenges and methodology to deliver the best Human Factors Training in your own organisation.

It is a core Train the Trainer skills courses and is focused on those persons in the organisation who will be required to both develop and deliver Human Factors training within an EASA part 145 Maintenance Repair Organisation MRO or other related EASA 145 organisation.

It is an industry understood reality that up to 80% of Aircraft Accidents and Incidents are connected with Human Error and in effect may be “managed”: by the organisation.

EASA Part 145 regulations specifically require that HF training is delivered to all front line and connected personnel involved in Production and related service activities within the Part 145 Organisation.

The course is delivered by professionals for professionals it is an intensive 3 days during which you will prepare and deliver your own presentation. This course has been delivered multiple times to wide acclaim and delegate satisfaction.

Commented Steven Bentley MD of SAS “This course is offered over a three day period to ensure that all essential elements of the requirements are covered, without compromise, it is not intended as an entry level course and focuses on the specific needs of the Human Factors Instructor HFI to deal with both the issues and maximising the involvement of an adult audience. Our Human Factors Training for Trainers course is extremely cost effective price – the course is priced in Euros and is half the price of competing training courses with no sacrifice in quality. This course is constructed and presented by a licensed engineer with more than 40 years commercial aviation experience”

There is a direct link in the work place between Quality Safety and Human Factors Training and this relationship is explored at every opportunity, The course content covers all the elements required by EASA as a minimum however it further develops the role of the organisation culture and behaviour in maximising the effectiveness of the training.

During the course delegates will be exposed to methods of training adult audiences and the different learning styles, support the development of effective instructional techniques, how to facilitate and effective communication processes. Utilising Case Studies and Accident Investigation Reports from the Aircraft Accidents Investigation Board (AAIB) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) The rationale behind SAS training is that the most effective training is that which the organisation delivers for itself – to itself focused on the specific organisation’s needs.
