Steve Bentley MD of Sofema Aviation Services was pleased to deliver a series of courses to the Bulgarian CAA from 17th to 19th of December 2018. The training took place at the Bulgarian CAA facilities in Sofia and was attended by more than 10 delegates.
Courses delivered consisted of the following:
- Auditing for EASA Compliance â Best Practice Review for Experienced Competent Authority & Industry Practitioners-1 day;
- EASA Certification and Regulation NAA Review Course – 1 day;
- EASA Aircraft Continuing Airworthiness Monitoring Requirements (ACAM) â For Regulatory Authorities and Industry – 1 day.
EASA Airworthiness regulation within the commercial environment is deeply complex and wide-reaching subject. Harmonization with the FAA plays a significant role in delivering the Initial Airworthiness Compliance.
Using EASA regulatory compliance as the baseline with appropriate consideration of both the Federal Airworthiness Authority (FAA) and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
SAS Training provides an understand regarding quality standards and the role of the organisation to promote and in some cases develop quality standards.
Delegates understand the psychology and communication techniques to be employed during an audit, as well as Considering Root Cause and the need to present effective audit findings taking into account effective post audit support and follow up.i
By understanding the criteria by which regulatory Authorities will assess industry for compliance provides a bench mark by which Continuous Airworthiness Authorities Organisation (CAMO) may continue to deliver compliance.
