In general pharmaceutical products require special care when being transported. Some shipments need to be delivered on schedule to protect their value. Other are fragile products and require special handling. Many of the Pharma products presents a challenge to the shipper. Usually those products need to being shipped quickly with great care because are highly sensitive to environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, pressure, and sunlight. It is challenging to maintain appropriate conditions in secure air-conditioned warehouses. This task become even more difficult when the pharmaceuticals are traveling in an air cargo hold at cruising altitude.
This training is based on principles and standards presented by IATA Perishable Cargo Regulations and Temperature Control Regulations. The aim of this course is to provide knowledge to participants for industry standards and recommended practices, which will help in efficient handling techniques and packaging methods to ensure the delivery of pharmaceutical products is always in first class condition and will reduce the risk of damages. Guidance for Transportation of Live Animals by Air – 2 Days

In many occasions people need to transport live animals by air. Very often those animals are personal pets, but there are different kind of animals transported by air as sporting animals, agricultural animals, zoological animals and species being transported for reasons of science.
Once accepted for transport the operators have to ensure the safety of passengers, crew members and animal handlers. From other side the welfare of transported animals need to be maintained at required standards.
This training is based on two documents used by airlines and shippers as guidelines for air transportation. Those are IATA Live Animal Regulations and European Commission Regulation (EC) 1/2005 on the protection of animals during transport and related operations. Read more
Transport of Infectious Substances Category A and Category B – 2 Days

This training is designed to enable shippers, carriers and receivers of infectious substances and patient specimens to safely meet their obligations under the various regulations which govern the shipping of these materials. Infectious substances are dangerous goods classified in Division 6.2 according to the UN Model Regulations.
The training is based on IATA Infectious Substances Shipping Guidelines. At this course you will learn about the regulations applicable for the international transport of infectious substances. This course presents all steps in the shipping process of substances classified as Category A and Category B. As well you will learn about the transport of “biological products,” “clinical waste” and “exempt human and exempt animal” specimens. In addition of transport by air, this training covers also the other transportation modes as marine, road, rail and postal services. Read more
