EWIS & FTS is a recurrent training which is applicable to many employees within both the Operator Part M and MRO environments.

Combining EWIS & FTS training into a single “In Company” Training provides several specific advantages due to much commonality of the source material.

Sofema Aviation Services offers a 2 Day Industry Specific EWIS – FTS Train the Trainer (TTT)  Training to enable your nominated trainer to deliver appropriate trainings best suited to your organization. To deliver effective training of EWIS within the work place recognizes the solution to several challenges and the need to manage inspection and On the Job Training OJT.

FTS owes its origins to the analysis following the inflight break up of Flight TWA 800 in July 1996. The origins of EWIS in fact go back a lot further but did not take on a formal identity until Aug 1996 when a White House Commission under the directorship of vice president Al gore was set up.

Techniques for engaging the delegate to deliver effective and meaningful trainings in the context of  FTS & EWIS are covered in depth.  Trainings for adult learners brings specific challenges which need to be addressed if the training is going to deliver the maximum benefit for the delegate.

The learning objectives of the 2 day Sofema Aviation Services Electrical Wiring Interconnect System Fuel Tank Safety Train the Trainer Course  focus on providing the delegate  with a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirement for effective FTS and EWIS training and to consider that while much commonality exists in these two subjects (FTS & EWIS), EWIS training for groups 1 & 2 is very specific and relevant to the company fleet.

All SAS TTT courses  introduce the delegate to training skills and to provide the confidence which can be developed to deliver effective FTS and EWIS Training An essential element then of benefiting from this training is to focus on the issues, how they relate in our work place, and what we need to do to address them.

Training essentially is better value when rather than just delivering regulatory compliance it adds value to the organization.
