EASA CAT A Critical Task Independent Inspection Recurrent – 1/2 Day

Introduction

EASA determined the following Inadequate procedures, the lack of procedures to detect if errors made during maintenance may have an impact on the safety of the flight. The worst foreseeable situation would be that the error is made on a system that controls the flight path, the stability or the propulsive forces. Proper implementation of procedures to detect errors and proper qualification of the persons implementing them would reduce the risks associated to such maintenance activity.

This 1/2 Day course provides “A” certifying staff with a regulatory understanding concerning roles and responsibilities to support the process of nominating such staff for Critical Task Independent Inspection.

Who is the course for?

The course is intended for CAT A certifying staff who will be used as Independent Inspectors within the context of EASA Part 145.A.48.

-145.A.60 Occurrence Reporting consider the role of Occurrence Reporting External and Internal –Iceberg of Ignorance

Target Groups

Operators and Maintenance Organisations Personnel, Quality Assurance Staff, Production Planning Staff, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) approval holders.

Pre-Requisites?

This course is intended for delegates who have previous 145 experience together with a working level understanding of the EASA Part 145 regulations.
