EASA Part 145 Workshop Theoretical Component Maintenance Train the Trainer – 3 Day

Introduction

In accordance with EASA Foreign Part-145 approvals – Components, engines, and APU certifying staff UG.CAO.00126-003

• 1.3.2.1. Component training may be carried out by an appropriately rated maintenance organisation provided:

o The person nominated to carry out the training can demonstrate he/she has received training to an appropriate level for the subject component;
o The person nominated to carry out the training is appropriately authorized by the maintenance organisation and is able to demonstrate a significant experience in the relevant component maintenance
o The training syllabus has been reviewed by the Engineering Manager and/or the Quality Manager
o The component is available for practical training purposes;
o For simple components, the maintenance organisation may take credit of the CC/S experience and/or a previous training on a component from the same family and same technology.

The focus of this 3-day course is to develop your workshop theoretical trainer to be able to develop manage & deliver component training to enable the delivery of component training to staff to enable them to gain organizational certification approval.

Learning from professionals how to define a training program, and best practice methods for facilitation and presenting. Understand how to perform a Training Needs Analysis and to develop material and content. Ensuring the delivery of an active and engaging learning experience for the delegates.

Who is the course for?

The course is primarily focused on the needs of the Workshop Theoretical Trainer (Instructor) within the workshop Environment, to develop your workshop theoretical trainer to be able to develop manage & deliver component training to nominated workshop staff to enable them to gain organizational certification approval.

The course will also be of interest to persons who are interested in gaining instructional skills to build additional competence.

Pre-requisites

A background in Aviation Maintenance with specific workshop experience would be an advantage.
