Part 145 Production Planning Development & CAMO Interface – 1 Day

Introduction

This course looks at the various elements to ensure effective oversight of the Maintenance Planning – Production Planning Interface

The most cost-effective maintenance requires proportionate planning to provide the best outcomes. The need for successful reporting at the beginning and throughout the maintenance check should be considered a requirement of the highest order.

Over time we gain experience on a particular aircraft type to the point where we can reasonably predict or anticipate the requirement in respect of manpower and other prerequisites which will help the pre-planning and our ability to cope with unforeseen circumstances.

Who is the course for?

It is focused primarily on the needs of the Operators Maintenance Planning Group, however, it is highly relevant for Production Planning Staff as well

a) To achieve a detailed understanding of the regulatory environment related to EASA Part 145 Production Planning

b) Be able to explain the roles and responsibilities related to the interface between Maintenance and Production Planning.

f) To achieve an understanding of industry best practice techniques to deliver efficiencies as well as effective Production Planning.

g) To be able to promote an understanding of the Role of Safety Management Systems both within base maintenance in general as well as in the area of Production Planning particularly

Pre-requisites

General Awareness of the structure and functionality of the EASA Part 145 Process. A good understanding of EASA Part 145.A.47 is an advantage.
