On June 17th and June 18th 2021 a 2-day training course focused on EASA Part 147 & Part 66 Combined Regulatory Review was successfully delivered to AP-Aeronautical Professionals Malta. The training was delivered through the Zoom meeting platform  to AP representatives by SAS instructor Carlos Barcia.

About the Instructor:

Carlos Barcia is aqualified lecturer and technical instructor (theoretical and practical), qualified assessor, examiner and an EASA Form 4 holder with 36 year experience in the aviation maintenance and training industry. He is a former Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, PART 66 B1 and FAA A&P license holder with a solid background in Aircraft Maintenance operations, supervision, maintenance management and training. He has solid knowledge and practical experience on EASA Part 66, PART 145, PART M and Part 147 regulations and FAA 65, 147 and 145. He has occupied several management levels positions in major airlines, maintenance service providers and type training organizations.

About the Training:

EASA Part 147 & Part 66 Combined Regulatory Review and Recurrent Training Essentials – 2 Days

The course is aimed specifically at stakeholders and other persons, who require a fundamental understanding of their obligations and responsibilities in respect of EASA Part 147. In addition the course will be suitable for Accountable Managers, Training Organisation Managers and persons wishing to expand their knowledge of Part 147 & Part 66.

It also focuses on the specific responsibilities of the Part 147 Form 4 holder. Sofema Aviation Services supports a practical understanding of the interpretation of all regulations to ensure that the Organization is able to comply in the most effective way.
