Rustom Sutaria – Instructor of Sofema Aviation Services, had the pleasure to deliver EASA Reliability Training Session in SAS Training Academy, Sofia this September.
The session started on September 16th and finished on September 20th. Thirteen delegates from TS Technik LLC, Royal New Zealand Air Force, FL Technics Ellinair S.A and Titan Airways LTD completed the training session successfully. They learnt how to:
– Understand better how an effective reliability program can drive operational optimizations
– Achieve a solid understanding related to Subpart G Reliability related Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) Regulatory Requirements
– Provide guidance and interpretation with regard to data and findings drawn from calculated results.

EASA Part M Implementing, Developing and Managing an Effective Reliability Program – 3 Days
The purpose of a reliability program is to ensure that the aircraft maintenance program tasks are effective and their periodicity is adequate, in addition, the reliability program may result in the escalation or deletion of a maintenance task, as well as the de-escalation or addition of a maintenance task.
The training focuses on the gathering and processing of data. The display of Reliability Data and the way in which this data may be used to benefit the maintenance program.
Aircraft Reliability Systems – Understanding the Maths Workshop – 2 Days
Reliability can be about far more than simply maintaining Maintenance Programme (MP) effectiveness and reliability. Data collected through the reliability analysis process can be used to support the optimisation of the maintenance process.
