Albert Fyfe –  an honourable Instructor of Sofema Aviation Services, had the pleasure to deliver Aviation and Maintenance Human Factors (Initial) – 2 Days training at Lao Skyway Facilities in Laos.

The session started on October 11th and finished on October 12th. Twelve delegates completed the training session successfully.

At the end of the training session the delegates’ comprehension was tested with an exam and all of them passed it with a highly positive mark.

In addition, they were all introduced to all elements of Aviation Human Factors with the intention of providing a better understanding of the subject and to find workable methods to improve standards and compliance.

About the Session:

The course is a highly participative and stimulates involvement and provides for powerful HF motivation and awareness. The aim is to give delegates a full introduction to Aircraft Maintenance Human Factors.The training will give the delegates a better understanding of the subject and to find workable methods to improve standards and compliance.

What the Training covered:

– Error Models, Incidents and Accidents that are related to Human Factor, as well as Statisctics in the area
– Discusses Safety Culture within the organisation and organisational Types of Violations and Errors
– Physical & Non-Physical Limitations at the workplace & Safety Behaviour and SMS
