About the training:
Electrical Wiring Interconnect System EWIS Training was issued as an EASA requirement in the summer of 2008. There is much confusion across the industry regarding the requirements to comply with the need for training EWIS within the Part 145 and Part M environment. AMC 20-22 specifies the requirements to be complied with to ensure the organization remains in uniformity with EASA regulatory requirements. Ultimately, according to the terms of the approval issued to Operators and MROs, It is the Operator’s and Maintenance Organisation’s Responsibility to abide by the requirements of Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems working practices and procedures, especially EWIS training.
EWIS Theory training is only part of the total picture. To achieve the most effective management of EWIS, it is necessary to rely on competent persons who can deliver appropriate in-company practical training. Practical elements are additional and can be performed on-site by the client as part of in-house preparation, or an extra day can be added to the on-site program for additional support (not available with Webinar Delivery).
