Sofema Aviation Services had the pleasure to Deliver 5 Day Dangerous Goods Training Program Category 6 Initial, which was delivered between August 7th and August 11th 2017 by our Instructor Elin Lambrev in the Mjets facility, at Don Muang Airport. The training was approved by Thai CAA.

About Dangerous Goods Training Program – Category 6 Initial

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) annually publishing Dangerous Goods Regulations which are fully compliant with latest edition ICAO TI and based on Annex 18 to the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation.

This training is based at latest edition of IATA DGR and it’s designed for the cargo agent, the freight forwarder and operators’ dangerous goods acceptance personnel (Category 6 from the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Table 1.5.A). The training has been produced to help students to achieve appropriate knowledge in all aspects of handling and transporting dangerous goods by air. Recurrent training must take place within 24 months of previous training to ensure knowledge is current.

Sofema Aviation Services currently offers an Intensive and Comprehensive Program to enable your own Instructors to acquire the skills to deliver Dangerous Goods Training in house to your own staff.

In order to comply with the requirements of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) in their Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air. Dangerous Goods Training is established as a mandatory requirements by the National competent authority of each Member State.

The SAS course is specifically designed to prepare the Instructor, who is typically responsible to develop and manage the DGR training program for all categories of DG.
