On May 4th and May 5th Altin Vrapi – a Nominated SAS instructor delivered a 2-day Part CAMO training specifically oriented towards regulatory authorities. A total of 24 delegates from CAA Norway attended the course which was delivered through the meeting platform Zoom.
About CAA Norway:
CAA Norway has the responsibility to oversee and regulate all aspects of civil aviation in Norway, implementing and customising national and international legislation and regulations. CAA Norway grants licences and operating permits to individuals and operators, for example to pilots, aircraft maintenance facilities and airlines.
To secure that laws and regulations are being followed, CAA Norway oversee and supervise civil aviation operators and personnel as well as aviation facilities. We oversee and supervise commercial air transport companies, commercial drone operators, aerodromes, aircraft maintenance facilities, aircraft airworthiness certificates, pilots’ licences, training facilities and security, amongst other areas of civil aviation
About the Instructor:
Altin Vrapi has broad aviation experience for more than 25 years. Licensed Aircraft Engineer since 1996 with different type ratings. Experienced in different managerial roles in; elaborating Maintenance of the Aircraft, Flight Safety Management, Airport development and operation, Air operations, Maintenance and Quality Assurance, Airline Management. He has been Accountable Manager for the Albanian Airlines and a key member Of Negotiation team of Government of Albania for The concession of Tirana Airport. He is a Certified Aviation Auditor Safety & Quality Assurance, Integrated Management Systems with experience as ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor, Change Management and Lean Management.

EASA Part CAMO Regulatory Obligations for Regulatory Authorities – 2 Days
The primary purpose of this training is to provide a thorough understanding of the Role of Annex Vc Part-CAMO in all jurisdictions managed by an EASA Regulatory environment. To introduce delegates to the working of the Part M Regulatory Structure and to enable a full understanding of the operator’s responsibilities & contracted arrangements, To provide a full understanding of the new regulations relating to Safety Management Systems (SMS) It looks in detail at required procedures, responsibilities and tasks.
The training is very practical with numerous examples, which are intended to give a workable perspective of how Industry should apply the knowledge that they gain in the workplace and to satisfy organisational & Regulatory Requirements.
