Sofema Aviation Services had the pleasure to Deliver EASA Part M Maintenance Planning Fundamentals and Reliability & MSG-3 Processes Theory & Practical courses, which were delivered between October 2th and October 13th 2017 by our Instructor Rustom Sultaria at Hotel Legends, Sofia, Bulgaria.

The delegates from  IRAN Aseman Airlines took part from the training program, which included the following courses:

EASA Part M Maintenance Planning Fundamentals – 5 Days

The Maintenance Planning Function is the responsibility of the Operator and Effective Maintenance Planning can contribute significantly to achieving real cost savings within the organization. The training develops an understanding regarding the opportunities to deliver real savings.

This intensive 5 Day course considers best practice processes for accomplishing the various tasks which together make up the challenging role of Maintenance Planning, It is specifically designed for people with a direct involvement in Part M Subpart C Planning functions whether in a Management Supervisory or Administrative role.

It will also be of benefit to Quality Audit Staff and persons who normally work within the Part M CAMO environment, particularly if elements of the Maintenance Planning Process are outsourced.

Reliability & MSG-3 Processes – Theory & Practical – 5 Days

Reliability programs form an essential element of the continuing airworthiness process and in fact are mandatory when aircraft are managed using MSG methodology.

The purpose of a reliability program is to ensure that the aircraft maintenance program tasks are effective and their periodicity is adequate, in addition the reliability program may result in the escalation or deletion of a maintenance task, as well as the de-escalation or addition of a maintenance task.

The course is developed to provide for a practical approach to delivering an effective Reliability Program within the organisation and will be of immense benefit to anyone with responsibility for the reliability process or an obligation to perform audits of the reliability process.
