A message from our CEO and Founder, Steven Bentley
Dear Clients and Friends of Sofema Aviation Services, as I write this message, we are approaching the end of probably the most tumultuous and impactful week in the development of our online training platform.
Launching Sofema Online is the culmination of a long journey requiring structured and detailed planning. This critical task (essential for our continued development) has been managed and executed to perfection under the watchful eye of our Director of IT Services, Petya Ilieva. Leading a team of highly experienced developers on the journey to deliver a cutting-edge LMS incorporating the latest features and technology.
Transitioning from a 25-Year-old platform based on a Joomla Learning Management System to a brand new Sofema “Designed & Commissioned” LMS, incorporating multiple client-friendly features, has been an 18-month project. Whilst our old system has served us well, it was time to say sayonara and to implement a more robust client-friendly system, not only built around Sofema’s detailed specification but specifically designed to make the corporate learning experience second to none.

Over 3500 Business Customers and over 20,000 Individuals who are using our platform to access over 525 Courses, Packages & Diplomas. We hope you will agree with us that the new platform is easy to use, with multiple features to enhance your learning experience. Thank you for continuing to support us through our initial transition & teething troubles, and we look forward to your continuing feedback.

New Website – New Plans for Integration
Our new home is Sofema Online; however, the old address Sofema Online (old) will provide you with the option of accessing the old platform when this is required, or to choose new courses through Sofema Aviation Virtual Academy
For the future, we plan to integrate all elements of our founding website, Sofema Aviation Services, which means following the transition (up to 15 months), all Sofema Aviation Products for Classroom, Webinar, and Online will be available through a single portal.
