“Whilst the UAE GCAA aligns with the core of EASA regulations there are a number of distinctive differences – for example, the UAE GCAA has introduced the MORC and also retained CAR M Subpart G where EASA has chosen to introduce Part CAMO.
Completing the CAR M Initial Training will introduce the following elements as well as a detailed understanding of the regulatory obligations:
- UAE CAR M Supplement S-1 Organisation Requirements
- UAE CAR M CAME Supplement
- Managing Competence Within a GCAA CAR CAMO Organisation
Completing the CAR 145 Initial Training will introduce the following elements as well as a detailed understanding of the regulatory obligations:
- Managing Competencies in a CAR 145 Environment
- SMS and CAR 145
- Fitness for Flight – Appendix VII to CAR 145
- Maintenance Organisation Review Certificate (MORC) Regulations
With the update to the latest 2023 version of the regulations, Sofema Online undertook a major rewrite of both regulations and has now released 4 courses, both initial & recurrent, covering the subject matter in detail.
