David James Hope is a senior-level aircraft fleet technical management professional with extensive global leadership experience. He has successfully delivered technical and business projects for leading airlines, including establishing or redesigning engineering and airworthiness management functions in four airlines and managing the technical development of the Airbus A380 cabin entertainment system and the first in-flight mobile connectivity platform for Qantas Airways. He improved dispatch reliability by 5% and reduced technical incidents by 30% for Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A330 fleet. David’s expertise spans engineering, maintenance, and continuous airworthiness management for civil and military aircraft. He is skilled in developing operational frameworks, technical services (Part M/CAMO), maintenance program development, aircraft modification projects (Part 21), and fleet reliability analysis. He has held leadership roles in aircraft fleet management at two major airlines and one MRO and is an effective communicator, team leader, and mentor.
