SAS continues to organize incompany training sessions and delivers them as webinars, keeping in mind both the instructor’s and the client’s safety. On April 14th and 15th two Part 21 trainings were delivered via the interactive paltform https://zoom.us/ by Steve Bentley and Crawford Murray respectively. Even though the courses follow a particular structure, training using a webinar allows clients to ask questions at any point throughout the process.

The courses included in the session are:

EASA Part 21 Subpart J Regulatory Framework – Essentials – 1 Day
Part 21 Subpart J Risk-Based Compliance & Level of Involvement – 1 Day

Both courses were adapted in a format that is easily presented and comprehended online and their completions leads to benefits such as:

  • Achieve a level of competency within the organisation related to Part 21 Subpart J regulatory obligations
  • Understand the mechanism whereby the CVE can certify full compliance with requirements
  • A thorough understanding of the associated terminology and procedures including changes to Type Design, Control of Supplementary Type Certificates (STC) (modifications) and repairs
  • Understand the methodology used to manage and control investigations and the development of Service information
