About the training

This course considers best practice processes for accomplishing the various tasks which together make up the challenging role of Maintenance Planning. It is specifically designed for people with a direct involvement in Part M Subpart C Planning functions whether in a Management Supervisory or Administrative role. Quality Audit Staff and specialists working within the Part M CAMO environment, particularly if elements of the Maintenance Planning Process are outsourced, will find this course useful.

Get to know the instructor

David Hope is an aviation professional with over 40 years of experience. He is a seasoned aircraft aviation professional. His career spans numerous essential roles, including Avionics Project  Engineer, Senior Avionics Engineer, Airbus Fleet Technical Services Manager, and Director of Technical Services and Base Maintenance. David’s expertise encompasses the development of operational frameworks for aircraft maintenance, fleet engineering management, and technical project management. Notably, David managed the technical development of the Airbus A380 cabin entertainment system and achieved significant improvements in dispatch reliability for Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A330 fleet. Currently, he imparts his vast knowledge as a SAS instructor, supporting the next generation of aviation professionals. Read more
