With the introduction of the new EASA requirements for Air Operators, together with the forthcoming requirements applicable to Part M, Part 145 & Part 21 the term ‘Compliance Monitoring’ is being used to describe the primary function of Quality Manager, indeed the role definition is also changed typically to be know as the “Compliance Manager” Compliance has thus emerged as one of the primary areas of focus.

Sofema Aviation Services offers a combined intensive 2 day course dealing with all the requirements to implement an effective compliance monitoring unit within either an operational or maintenance environment.

This course assumes a pre existing knowledge of quality principles as understood within an EASA context. It is eminently suited to all personnel who have a stake in the QMS process including Quality and Accountable Managers, Post Holders and Business Area Holders.

The training considers the fundamentals of EASA Quality Management Principles and how these may be best applied in the context of an EASA / GCAA environment.

Delegates will fully understand the role of compliance management together with interaction with the regulator and Accountable Executive.

The relationship between QMS and SMS will be fully explored with a detailed understanding of the difference attributes of a Quality and Safety Audit
