To be issued with an Air Operators Certificate (AOC) for Commercial Air Transport (CAT) the operator must have a Continuous Airworthiness Management Organisation. (CAMO) with approval for Part M subpart G,  although in the future this may change with the introduction with Part M Subpart J.

Using a CAMO to manage  the aircraft or fleet requires a significant resource  to achieve full Continuing Airworthiness Management of an aircraft fleet to ensure compliance with EASA Part M. The operator remains responsible for the Quality Assurance and Sofema Aviation Services can assist to support you to develop and optimize your Quality System. As a separate organisation we are able to quality monitor the services of our CAMO partner to ensure consistent delivery of the full Continuing Airworthiness Management Service.

For small to medium fleets sub contracting your full Continuing Airworthiness Management can provide a significant saving, Sofema Aviation Services with extensive experience will be pleased to support you throughout the process to re-assess and optimize your aircraft management process.

Once an aircraft has been setup within the management system, it is relatively straight forward  for us to deliver full Continuing Airworthiness Management services which facilitates the recording all operations and maintenance events in accordance with EASA Part M Sup Part G requirements.
