EASA 1178/2011 Part ORA Regulations – 2 Days

Introduction

The introduction of Regulation (EU) 1178/2011 brought together all elements of pilot licensing, medical and training organisation approval under the direct regulatory control of EASA.

Also included are regulations associated with Cabin Crew Certification, Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) as well as the Requirements for the Regulatory Authorities.

This course focuses on the specific elements of EC Regulation Aircrew (1178/2011) associated with the need to ensure compliance with Annex VI – Authority Requirements for Aircrew (Part ARA)

Under these rules, EASA Member States continue to issue licences, ratings and certificates, and it is the national authorities that should be addressed with questions regarding licences, ratings and certificates.

The objective of this course is to familiarize participants with the regulatory requirements of Part ORA as well as a general understanding of the Framework of 1178/2011.
