Introduction

EASA Part 145 is one of the most mature regulations with its European origins going back some 20-plus years to the introduction of the harmonized FAA / JAA regulation.

Learning objectives

The primary purpose of this training is to provide an overview of the Role of Part-145 in all jurisdictions managed by an EASA Regulatory environment.

To provide a general overview of all parts of EASA Part-145 and to include the responsibilities of the Part-145 Organisation to the Part-M Organisation.

Pre-requisites

A background in an aviation environment. It may be helpful for participants to have a basic understanding of aviation maintenance and repair activities, as well as an awareness of safety management systems and quality assurance principles.

Target Groups

This course is targeted toward individuals and organizations involved in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft registered in Europe.
It may also be useful for individuals who want to obtain or renew their EASA Part 145 approval or certificate, as well as for aviation professionals who are involved in audits or inspections of organizations that hold EASA Part 145 approval.
