Module 9 Human Factors aims at providing an understanding of the role of human factors in the complex system in the aviation field.
This course has been specifically developed to meet the needs of both Aircraft Certifying Staff & Component Certifying Staff

The material is specifically developed to meet the needs of Aircraft Certifying Staff & Components, Engines, and APU Certifying Staff. In accordance with the requirements of EASA document UG.CAO.00126-003 and UG.CAO.00121-004

What is the Benefit of this Training – What will I learn?
a) On completion of the module you will be able to sit a multiple-choice exam and on passing it, will receive a certificate.
b) The course is focused on discussing the key elements in order to understand human performances and limitations and all the factors that can determine a certain behavior (the Dirty Dozen).
c) The main objective of the course is to increase the aircraft maintenance technicians’ awareness regarding the consequences that their actions have on safety.
d) As a result, aircraft maintenance technicians that have properly studied human factors will become more responsible in performing the tasks at their workplace and this will lead to risk mitigation.

Pre-requisites
No previous knowledge is assumed and this course is aimed at entry-level persons who are wishing to obtain their AMEL.

This program is intended to provide detailed guidance support and understanding to enable you to pursue an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (AMEL) as a “self-starter” – Means you are working through the various options which provide a self-study route to obtain your AMEL qualification.
