EWIS Group 1 & Group 2 – Practical Instructor Training – 1 Day

Introduction

Electrical Wiring Interconnect System EWIS Training was issued as an EASA requirement in the summer of 2008. There is much confusion across the industry as to the requirements to comply with the need for training EWIS within the Part 145 and Part M environment. AMC 20-22 makes It very clear the requirements are to be complied with to ensure the organization remains in conformity with EASA regulatory requirements. Ultimately in accordance with the terms of the approval issued to Operators and MROs, It is the Operator’s and Maintenance Organisation Responsibility to comply with the requirements of Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems working practices and procedures including specifically EWIS training.

EWIS Theory training is only part of the total picture, for the most effective management of EWIS, it is necessary to have competent persons who are able to deliver appropriate in-company practical training.

Practical elements are additional and can be performed on-site by the client as part of in-house preparation – alternatively, an additional day can be added to the onsite program for additional support (not available with Webinar Delivery).
